About Mrs. Daggett
Teaching preschool is my calling. It’s WHAT I DO. My dream as a young girl was to be a teacher, and I’m now embarking on my 21st year in education–WOW, where does the time go? I earned my bachelor’s degree in education from St. Cloud State University and my M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Early Childhood Education from Concordia University. I pride myself on connecting with children and families from a wide variety of backgrounds and provide a rigorous, play-based, innovative curriculum that meets the individual needs of preschool students as they prepare for kindergarten.
I love my job working with young children and their families, and I look forward to getting to know you as I teach your child.

Testimonials
“We love Mrs. Daggett! Her teaching meets each child where they are at and then challenges them in age appropriate ways. She is encouraging and supportive. She is interested in and enjoys learning from the kids as much as they love learning from her. She is joyful, compassionate, loving, creative, and it is clear that teaching is her calling. Our son has grown not just in skills and intellect but also confidence and character. Mrs. Daggett has been a true blessing in our lives.”
–Megan & Eric Clapp, parents
“My twins had the best preschool experience in Mrs. Daggett’s classroom. She not only provided them with love and warmth, but she also integrated a high level of educational experiences, creative activities, and fun into their daily routine. They looked forward to her classroom every day, and I felt confident that they were in the best possible place for them. My daughters were well prepared for kindergarten academically, socially, and emotionally, and I attribute this to the positive interaction and personal interest that Mrs. Daggett invested in their growth. When we had to leave her class a little early to move to a new town, she even threw the girls a special going away party and kept in touch with us to see how they settled in. Mrs. Daggett is a teacher that I continue to recommend to anyone in the Detroit Lakes area looking for a top-notch preschool experience.”
